Supervised Exercise Therapy (SET) for

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)

What is PAD?

Clogged arteries in the legs that increase your risk for heart attack, stroke, amputation and death. Warning signs include:

  • Leg muscle pain that happens when you walk but goes away with rest

  • Foot or toe pain at rest that often disturbs your sleep

  • Skin wounds or ulcers on your feet or toes that are slow to heal

SET shows a 100% increase in pain free walking distance in numerous studies.
Most insurances cover up to 36 sessions. Ask your physician or call us for more information.

If you wish to join this program, ask your physician to be tested for PAD. If you are diagnosed with PAD, you can print out the referral form here, and take it to your physician.

For more information, you can read the American Heart Association's bulletin on PAD here.
